Poverty Needs Assessment
The Poverty Needs Assessment is an important strategic document produced to begin the process of exploring some of the relationships between poverty and other areas of need, inform the development of the Council’s Poverty Strategy, and provide a robust evidence base to support short and long-term actions to combat poverty in Tameside.
This report looks at the population demographics of Tameside and Tameside and Glossop. It goes into detail about the different characteristics that make up our population such as age, gender, ethnicity and health outcomes of the resident and registered population.
Early Help Needs Assessment
This report is part of the JSNA products. It is a needs assessment on 'Early Help', which means taking action to support a child, young person or their family as soon as a problem emerges. It can be required at any stage in a child's life, from pre-birth to adulthood, and applies to any problem or need that the family can't deal with alone. This needs assessment highlights the key outcomes and concerns for children and young people in Tameside.
